This 9th release of Out to Lunch, a division of German label r.a.n.d. muzik, is absolutely brilliant. On the first side, André Seidensticker brings some dark, melancholic and melodic electro like you could hear on Warp Records. On the other side, it is electro again but the sounds and strings get deeper and warmer, like some productions of American artists from Detroit. Perfect !!

This 9th release on "Comin from tha D" series features four dark and new talents from Detroit and shows that the Submerge pool isn't anymore the only one to bring electronic music. With nostalgic breaks in a same Dopplereffekt mood from Japanes Telecom, with minimal and deep techno beats from Maersk (that could appear on German Background records) or with urban jungle from Tony Ollivierra, a relief has come, a little bit young but already away from well-known Motor City sound.

In the early 70's, famous artist Patrick Juvet was singing "Ou sont les femmes ?" ("Where are women ?"). In fact, Ladies left to Lasergun planet, managed by hi-nrj Savas Pascalidis !!! And thanks to its efficient Disco style, that appears on this groovy four tracks version, they made a good choice ! A very successful EP, with heavy techno bassline, brilliant melodies and even saturation. Obviously, this 8th release on acclaimed German label is a real women trap !!!

This 12" is a cliché of the whole house family : tracks by Steve Bug (Pokerflat), refreaks by Luke Solomon (MFF) and released on Vincenzo' label Dessous. The original is a great tune of minimal funky tech' house (kind of Loverboy), the refreaks is crazy, Solomon turns it in a trippin' house, lovely strings and shacked drums... House forever.

Gil le Gamin and Olivier M. released lots of groovy techno on G-funk and Tekmics. I'm happy to see them on an established label such as F com. One long-player, big dancefloor potential, percussive strings and drums, kind of Killabyte. On the flip side electro-techno, vocoder and 90' ravy touch. The last one goes deep house with a soulful jazzy mood. Really nice.
