Seidensticker - Schwarz vom Harz - Out to Lunch 09
This 9th release of Out to Lunch, a division of German label r.a.n.d. muzik, is absolutely brilliant. On the first side, André Seidensticker brings some dark, melancholic and melodic electro like you could hear on Warp Records. On the other side, it is electro again but the sounds and strings get deeper and warmer, like some productions of American artists from Detroit. Perfect !! www.mad-net.de/rand Ludo, 26/04/2001

Comin From Tha D - Blueprint - Intuit-Solar 09
This 9th release on "Comin from tha D" series features four dark and new talents from Detroit and shows that the Submerge pool isn't anymore the only one to bring electronic music. With nostalgic breaks in a same Dopplereffekt mood from Japanes Telecom, with minimal and deep techno beats from Maersk (that could appear on German Background records) or with urban jungle from Tony Ollivierra, a relief has come, a little bit young but already away from well-known Motor City sound. www.intuit-solar.com Nexus 6, 25/04/2001

Savas Pascalidis - Fantastic Voyage - Lasergun 08
In the early 70's, famous artist Patrick Juvet was singing "Ou sont les femmes ?" ("Where are women ?"). In fact, Ladies left to Lasergun planet, managed by hi-nrj Savas Pascalidis !!! And thanks to its efficient Disco style, that appears on this groovy four tracks version, they made a good choice ! A very successful EP, with heavy techno bassline, brilliant melodies and even saturation. Obviously, this 8th release on acclaimed German label is a real women trap !!! www.lasergun-records.com Nexus 6, 24/04/2001

Anthony - Full Session EP - Ozone 12
Jack de Marseille, Oxia and Kiko's label shows on every release a deep love for tech'house music. This new 12', from unknown artist Anthony, doesn't depart from the rules ! Let's consider rare dark feelings on this dark three cuts ep from one of the most obscure new talent. www.goodlife-ozone.com Nexus 6, 23/04/2001

Pollenflug & Didier Leroux - Sonthofenerstr... - Decomplex Audio 05
Far more aggressive than latest EP's on Decomplex (cf "Sonthofenerstrasse 66" may remind you an old classic tune), this fifth release will blast you for sure !!! Friendly Harald and his strident fellow Dietmar Hirsch add a touch of groove on this new four cuts ! Real pumpin' hard-techno stuff to play on warehouses !! www.decomplex-audio.de Nexus 6, 20/04/2001

Kiko - Monique EP - Goodlife 09
As good as the "Wolrd Cup EP" !! With this wicked two cuts, one of the Ozone members, shows his love of heavy bass on neighbor Goodlife records, label of Oxia & The Hacker. The Tech'house version on A side (with this amazing loop that will make you crazy) moves into a vocoderized-disco track on the other side. It blasts, it moves your body and makes your face shinning ! www.goodlife-ozone.com Nexus 6, 18/04/2001

Aqualab & Davis - Allergiker EP - Decomplex Audio 04
A without compromising record on a new hard-techno division located somewhere between Erkheim & Illertissen, in Germany. Written and produced by (once again) label owners Harald Klotzberg & Phil Davis, this four-cuts EP, from tribal to minimal, concentrates energy and heavy rhythms. Really focused on the dancefloor !!! www.decomplex-audio.de Nexus 6, 17/04/2001

Paul Brtschitsch - Venex LP - Frisbee CD07
Which common things have Heiko Laux (Kanzleramt), Corrado Izzo (Zenit Medien) and Paul Brtschitsch (Frisbee) ? All of them worked a time at Neuton distribution and maybe it helped them to develop this certain and classy taste of music. After touring live throughout Europe last year, this Berliner with unpronounceable name strikes back and gives a... read more Nexus 6, 16/04/2001

Steve Bug - Soulin' deep feat. Freaks remixes - Dessous 14
This 12" is a cliché of the whole house family : tracks by Steve Bug (Pokerflat), refreaks by Luke Solomon (MFF) and released on Vincenzo' label Dessous. The original is a great tune of minimal funky tech' house (kind of Loverboy), the refreaks is crazy, Solomon turns it in a trippin' house, lovely strings and shacked drums... House forever. www.dessous-recordings.com Chaton, 13/04/2001

The Youngsters - Spanish harlem - F Communications 133
Gil le Gamin and Olivier M. released lots of groovy techno on G-funk and Tekmics. I'm happy to see them on an established label such as F com. One long-player, big dancefloor potential, percussive strings and drums, kind of Killabyte. On the flip side electro-techno, vocoder and 90' ravy touch. The last one goes deep house with a soulful jazzy mood. Really nice. www.fcom.fr www.theyoungsters.net Chaton, 11/04/2001

Leandro Gamez - No way to follow - Superbra 12
Swiss label Superbra follows Phont success and starts to get a similar world-wide notoriety (just use our search engine to find it in many dj charts).
