Well-known for his noisy reduced electronica (klick, rosa),Thomas Brinkmann has an another face called Soul Center, which is obviously jazz : piano, bass, touch of old school funk and an uptempo house rhythm. Roses is a wonderful free jazz' jam, imagine Herbie Hancock gets tripped at studio 672...wicked !

The last Köln-tool from a brand new label called Sub static. Clubby minimal techno, kind of the nearly classic "Robson ponte" (Kom 9), 80's feelin' and endless melody with sweats bleeps. On the flip side, two deep techno tracks, between Stewart Walker and Basic Channel, locked lo-fi drums, electro dub and warm synth just to get down. Great electronic music, check the next release !

Mikael and Daniel on this split release (2 tracks each) make this EP an interesting one. Both of them together with Magnus Hjelte make 'La Familia' (appeared with their first EP on Armalyte), and this record carry the same sound. Daniel has made a big progress since gfr1201 - two driving, phunky trax with the repetitive vocal stabs hit the spot. Much better producing. Per Mikael (label owner) comes with darker and stronger breakbeat driven vibe. Sinister undertones makes it more deeper and hypnotic. Kickin' stuff, very playable.

At last, first one in the series of ten Rilis special edition EP's is here. Produced by Rino Cerrone, one of the most recognised artists on the tech'house scene beside his fellow Napolitans Gaetek and Marco Carola. Interesting thing is that both 1.5 & 2.5 (2.5 will be out in April) have the same BPM, and meant to be loop ended tracks, makes them perfect DJ tools - especially if you know your way on 3 decks. These two tracks (Carving / Intense) are simply beautiful - groovy, funky sounds with an eased up rhythm makes this EP a 'must have'. Bravo, signor Cerrone.

Four unreleased mixes taken from the excellent album "When no one is watching we are invisible". A timeless deep-house track with a well-known sample "let me luv u". One fresh bossa track, but the worth amazing is two deep tech-house tracks : complex groovy rhythm, smooth Detroit' string and a good old acid bassline. The Nordic just succeed in every electronic style... A real producer.
