Long awaited Carola's album is finally here. Fourteen tracks ranging from ambient, atmospheric sounds, through electro & breakbeat to his well known tech house & techno production. This is the first time I've heard him put all these various music kinds in one place. So, it's not only DJ tools as you might expected, but a record worth listening to at home. It is a kind of surprise, but it's maybe influenced by his recent migration to London. All in all, he gives us his usual high standard tech production enforced with some fine chillout pieces. Warning the most amazing bootleg of the month ! Bring soul' divas under electro, that's Girls on top. On the logo side, a kraftwek' electro and a melancholic piano leads "I wanna dance with somebody" (early track from Whitney Houston, 1987)... disconcerting but so lovely ! On the flip side, TLC put theirs flow "no scrubs" on a sub and ravy breakbeat. Deep, deep, dirty & sexy... The job is done.

Once again, Naples / Italy delivers us another talented producer. After Marco, Gaetano, Rino & Danilo, here comes Davide Squillace with some very nice & efficient tracks on his own label Sketch. On this new release, of course we find the typical tek'house Italian groove but most of all we can discover a more original & funky touch than usual.
