The name of this first EP of the Art of Perception collection is really appropriated because darkness is getting out of all four cuts. The first side starts with a good dancefloor track by Johannes Heil, close to the one he produced on Kanzleramt 50 LP #2. Then the German producers follows with an ambient title with voices and strong strings. On the other side, Kim Cascone gives a progressive and hypnotising track made of ambient & deep sounds which ends in an electro way... absolutely brilliant !! At last, the final cut by the American producer is sinister, in an ambient style. Check it on the official website and get it !
