9th in the series of the famous Tresor compilations stands up to the quality of it's predecessors. Eight well-known artists from Tresor's huge roster, each one of them with their own vision of techno, and that's what makes this double pack so amazing. The Advent ("Cronik") : banging techno with some tribal elements and strong percussions from the man that can't do wrong. DJ Rush ("Jack Your Body") : usual Rush styled techno, dirty bassline with his own vocals over it. Cristian Vogel ("Angry Sausage Dog") : slow and heavy techno beats, with abstract atmosphere. Neil Landstrumm ("We Are Pleased To Serve You") : very interesting experimental techno with some nice spacey sounds. Daniel Bell ("Bilbao") : great minimal techno piece with very deep mood done in Bell's unique style ! Matthew Herbert ("The Puzzle") : pretty weird experimental techno with a doze of funk. DJ Shufflemaster ("Angel Gate") : more driving techno energy from Japan's finest producer, this time with a slightly deeper approach. Scan 7 ("Urban Energy") : solid uplifting minimal techno cuts from this Detroit artist.
Either you are a DJ or just collector this double pack is a must have. Period.
