Created in London, SMB records explores electronic styles that are mostly misunderstood here in France. From break-beat to drum & bass, this young label welcomes today four tracks from Simon Brown aka The Dexorcist. This electro freak, already heard last month along with Bass Junkie on Battle Trax 06, offers a very interesting and dark vision of breaks. Two titles distinguish from the others : "Deck Statik", a break-beat track that turns into heavy new school electro, and "Bassmatrix", taken from 1992's "Revival Shadows" by Public Ambient. With such releases, no doubt we'll have to keep an eye on this interesting label.
