Between brilliant "Dead Silence Syndicate" compilation co-produced with Audio Illusion and this tenth release written by Chan' n' Mikes label owner himself, a year has happened. Yet, if the expectation was a little bit long, exceptional quality of this 12'' will widely reward our patience! Oscillating from furious hard electro to complex darkcore sounds, "The Last Starfighter" sums up in four tracks and as much bonus beats the best of what London based artist can offer behind his machines. False breaks, counter-tempos and tracks that seem to be badly pressed, no doubt we are here in presence of truly traps for dj's, as hard to play as pleasant to listen!! Heady ("The Melbourne Shuffle"), frenetic ("Dexx"), abrasive ("Dr008") or dark ("Sinister"), this distorted and amazing production should establish a little more reputation of our Frenchie label with outer Channel ramifications.
