It was a long time Lab Insect didn't release any EP. After his appearances on Leitmotiv, Lasergun and Kurbel, the French producer is back today on Ekeltrofon, the imprint he's just founded with Mitch. As we guessed, Elektrofon's style is electro techno. On the A side, "Fill for me" is both powerful, harmonious and dark thanks to its massive analogue sounds and strings. The vocoder and the long break make this track even better. Excellent ! On the B side, "Depraved Girls" starts in a quite raw and oldschool techno style that can remember old soundtracker modules. Then, Mitch's voice appears and the synth sounds get stronger in order to rock the dancefloor! Finally, "ADN Transfert" ends this three cuts one more time with a dark (and even sinister!) & oldschool atmosphere. Lab Insect fans won't be disappointed. Can't wait for the next Elektrofon!
