DIP is David Lazzari, a Switzerland-living Italian, one of the pioneers of underground techno scene in Switzerland. Steady hard kick productions, with analog and FX sounds makes his style quite special and it's a result of many years of work in the sphere of electronic music. He's also responsible for the first Primate Ten where he appeared under the 'Spectrum' name in 1997. This record is combining hard techno with some filtered piano chords - as one reviewer said, a crossing between Carola and Luke Slater. You could add some Andreas Krämer and get a closest description of his sound. Although a little outdated (Sep 2000), this record deserves some attention. This is the one, if you're looking for something different. www.diprec.com Lesha, 12/11/2001
