No doubt, here is the more original release of the Art of Perception series. Side A : Jimi Tenor brings a jazz rock title that could be a movie soundtrack. The female choirs remember an old and famous French band of the 70's : Magma !! Something completely different with the second track of the Finnish artist who is exploring here the dark side of ambient. It's very difficult to find what the two sides have in common ... Oh yes of course : Finland !! But that's all because the two kind and crazy Ural 13 Diktators come with their own style far away from Jimi Tenor's one : transformed voice, heavy bassline, 80's sounds, pumpin' rhythm and little trancy melodies... well all that made them famous are part of their two tracks... So, this great EP is recommended to all open-mind people ! Listen to it on the web site of the German label.
