Cybernet Systems - Robot Movement - Battle Trax CD 001

With an awesome use of bass, sounds and an impressive number of tracks, generosity will be the correct term to describe one of the main and essential electro releases of the year 2002. Author of four albums on Breakin', Audio Illusion and Joey Boy records, Phil Klein compiles today his early musical works under his underground Cybernet Systems pseudo. No doubt novices and fans of the first light will be fully satisfied to (re)discover some classical and out of print tunes like astounding "We are Borg" or renowned "Sound Chemistry". Taken from past Battle Trax 02 & 05, Panic Trax 01 "The Dynamix II Electro Bass Compilation" releases, nine old school masterpieces, written from 1995 to 1998, have been completed with more recent productions as wonderful "Robot Movement" & "Circuitry" songs to be released in vinyl later on. In a perfect consistency, fifteen tracks in total easily demonstrate talent of the UK electro movement spearhead. From "Will I Dream?" to "First Contact", "Planet Electro" or "Extreme Force", Battle Trax mastermind declines, in a continuous bass breaking, a music alternatively futuristic, full of scary samples, vocoderised and even acid. Pioneer of the Miami Sound (let's read our interview in the news pages) along side with Scott Weiser (half of Jackal & Hyde / Dynamix II) in the 90's, Bass Junkie is expected to play at the Batofar in Paris, on March the 30th. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear in preview this vital opus. Five copies of the new CD are to be won at Groovetech.com. But are you really ready for bass ?
