Here at Atome, we're fond of celebrating births. Furthermore when it's about a new label, Plak records, owned by well-known Chaton and especially when the first release is a total success ! As a link between Annecy (France) and Geneva (Switzerland) towns, this young division, co-managed with his friends Reno, Sabo, Steve & Damien, should allow our Atome reviewer to express his "definition of house music", as he said last month on De-Bug magazine. Halfway from Kompakt minimalism and Underground Resistance groove, "A Night With The Soprano" offers an exact and sonorous illustration of Stephane's musical influences. Moody house on A-side, the EP turns into a minimal techno on "A Witch" before closing with deep and beautiful "Boumi It Up". A pure, sincere and fine emotion. Congratulations Maestro !
