Domizil is a Swiss label based in Zurich and started in the middle of the 90's by Marcus Maeder & Bernd Schurer. Reading the title of this release, maybe some of you already guess what it contains : a compilation of tracks including a lot of chip sounds coming from old computers like c64, amiga or atari st. The styles are varied : dancefloor with "you're so full of sid" by Psilodumputer (Sweden), melodic & kitsch with "full of discobitch rmx" by Sami (Finland), electronica / funny / breakbeat with "full of chips rmx" by Paza (Finland), electro with "rmx" by Drop Da Bomb (Switzerland) or also experimental / industrial with the other tune by Psilodumputer : "I'm so full of you". The musical production of whole tracks is excellent : so lovely !! The story tells that this vinyl record was released via Micromusic, a web site dedicated to this kind of music. Its members used an online voting system to choose which tracks they wanted to be on this EP. A great idea from Domizil and Micromusic : we really hope they will do it again soon ! Check it !
